ASHWIN'S REFLECTION:
The estate was established over 50 years ago by a wife and husband duo, Beatrice & Stefano, each with a long family history in wine. They plant all native varieties, which are influenced heavily by the Adriatic Sea — both from a temperature moderation standpoint as well as a flavor standpoint.
Le Marche is one of Italy's least well known regions, mostly due to the fact that it gets overshadowed by its neighbor in Tuscany, but there are some simply wonderful wines in the region, and this one, in my opinion, is one of them.
