FAQ
Why can't I join right now?
The club only opens during drops, and only to waitlist members. Join the waitlist and you'll get the access code by email when the next drop opens.
When is the next drop?
Wednesday, October 28 at 12 PM Eastern. Waitlist members get the first email.
Will I like the wines?
Yes. Each month balances familiar and curious picks. You'll be surprised what you love.
What are the membership types?
We have three options. Our most popular option is our full experience, which comes with 6 bottles per month (each bottle is different). We also have a mini experience with 3 bottles per month, or a collector's experience with 12 bottles per month (2 of each bottle, 6 different wines).
What if 6 bottles/month is too much for me?
I totally get it. 6 bottles might not be the right option for everyone. That's why our memberships allow you to pause or skip shipments as needed. That said, we never ship the same theme, and we certainly never ship the same bottle twice. So, if you skip a shipment, unfortunately, you'll have missed it forever. Keep in mind, a lot of these wines do well with age, make for great gifts, and are perfect companions to dinner parties, so even if you don't need 6 bottles per month for yourself, you might just find that you're glad you have them.
When will my first wine shipment arrive?
Your wine club shipment will typically arrive between 2 and 5 business days after you place your order. You will need to be available to sign for your package upon delivery. If you're not planning on being home, we can work with you to deliver to any UPS or FedEx location in your area.
Can I pause my membership or edit my delivery day if I need to?
Yes, of course! You can manage your membership directly through our portal, which allows you to adjust your delivery day if you travel, and you can absolutely pause if you need to (or even just want to). However, each shipment is unique and is paired with exclusive tasting notes and food pairing guides, so we recommend that you keep a continuous subscription for the best, most comprehensive experience. We don't ship any bottle more than once, so we'd love for you to get to try all the different wines we've meticulously chosen.
Where do you ship to?
We ship anywhere in the U.S. with the exception of these states: AL, MS, SD, TN, and UT. If you are located outside of the U.S. but interested in joining the wine club, send me an email at cheers@unpinnedwine.com. Although we don't ship worldwide yet, I'll send you a thank-you gift for following my journey!
Are the wines organic or low-intervention?
Our founder, Ashwin, searches for wines that are made by passionate individuals and families, not large conglomerates. Smaller winemakers don't always have the resources to get all the certifications. As such, we don't live by rules like "organic only." Rather, I take a holistic view of the wines and the winemaker, making a concerted effort to source wines that are lower-intervention, organic, natural, etc., and you'll likely be able to taste and feel the difference.
