This shipment means more to me than most. Every producer here works in a place that's been defined, at some point, by conflict they didn't choose.
What struck me putting this box together wasn't the destruction, it was how unremarkable that history has become to the people still making wine there: it's just part of the land's story now, not the whole of it.
I wanted this box to sit with that tension for a minute before you pull the cork, and then let the wine make the case for what actually lasted.
