ASHWIN'S REFLECTION:
Yohan Lardy is a 5th generation vigneron who started his own label in 2012 where he practices organic farming (without certification) by hand whenever possible. The more natural and manual approach continues into the cellar as well, bringing this Beaujolais full circle as a lower intervention wine. The annual production is extremely limited at just a few thousand cases per year. The Gamay vines date back to 1950 + 1911 which offer low yields but depth of flavor that’s hard to match.
