ASHWIN'S REFLECTION:
Elisa Semino runs the estate today alongside her father and brother — representing multiple generations of the Semino family working the Colli Tortonesi in Piemonte. Timorasso is a variety that nearly went extinct until regional pioneers reintroduced it in the 1990s. While it’s not well-known to most, Timorasso is developing (albeit slowly and amongst a niche group) a reputation for being a standout variety with depth and complexity in the glass.
