Where do the wines come from?
This drop sources from the former Habsburg and Ottoman territories: Austria, Slovenia, Serbia, and Bulgaria. These are regions with deep winemaking histories shaped by centuries of empire, conflict, and survival.
What kinds of wines are in this drop?
Six bottles spanning four countries: two Austrian reds (Pittnauer and Geyerhof), a Serbian white from Todorovic, a Bulgarian pét-nat rosé from Zagreus, and two Slovenian bottles — the Zajc Cviček (pronounced "tsvee-check") and a sparkling Šipon from Matic.
