ASHWIN'S REFLECTION:
The Luigi Giordano Azienda is a family-owned, multi-generation winery that has believed in the power of Barbaresco since before "Barbaresco" became a household name for wine-lovers. With extremely limited production, particularly for the Cavanna single-vineyard bottling ~2 hectares → small enough that you could throw a football across the vineyard, the family maintains a strong commitment to terroir-driven wines. Laura Giordano is the winemaker here, and she's producing simply stunning examples of Barbaresco.
